		<description>to:Raymond Chen

Dear dTa developers,

My proposal :
- To put your dTa button on the site of a willing UN agency
and name it DownThemAll and Translate.

I am a freelance Reviser
for the UN agency that is willing to have a facility
that can combine dTa
and automatic translation engine,
initially in four languages,
to allow any division that needs fast BUT acceptable quality translations.

My function, as a freelance Reviser,
is to arrange for the revision
of fast-track docs.
My function is based on
my network of revisers and translators.

However, we need each division of the UN agency
to BE CONVINCED that
they can EASILY easily but reliably
send their docs for
fast-track translation,
stick to deadlines
and get good quality translated docs
to be put back on the same page in the shortest time possible.

For example, they will have 20 docs for translation
dsiplayed as MSWord icons at the page of
some Conference-in-the-making.

The dTa+Translate button will be displayed
as a default at any corner of any page in the agency&#039;s website
always visible wherever you go in this website.

After it has been clicked on the page of
those 20 docs for translation
displayed as MSWord icons at the page of
the Conference-in-the-making,
your engine sends all those docs to
the translation engine
for INITAL BATCH PROCESSING
by translation engine.

After initial processing,
they are automatically sent to approved revisers/translators
for refining up to UN level.
Having finished the work,
the reviser must have dTa
to upload them all to the same page
of the Conference-in-the-making.

I am currently prepping a TranslationMemory for
such a facility.

There is natural resistance on the part of
certian language teams.

But the senior level is prepared to act
and pay once they are convinced
that the facility based on dTa+TM
will work well enough
not to lead to disruption in the doc flow.

I have looked at GoogleTranslate Developer&#039;s Guide
http://code.google.com/apis/language/translate/v2/using_rest.html

but I am not an expert on this.

Initial payment will be arranged for
a test run of a simple model
combining dTa, GoogleTranslate
and the Translation Memory which I am preparing
to the senior level rep of the UN Agency.

Its approx size 10000 pages.

Yours
